Jesse Cole created the Savannah Bananas, combining show business and baseball to give people the "greatest show in baseball." 

The team began in 2015 when he and his wife began an expansion franchise to join the coastal playing league. They had a big vision but got into seven figures of debt to bring that vision to life.   

They sought not only great baseball players but also great entertainers to join the team. They sold out on opening night and while they played terribly, and the rain altered their plans, the crowd didn’t care. They went viral. And since that first season, they’ve sold out every night. There’s even a waitlist by the thousands to get tickets! And they don’t even advertise. How did they do this? They focused on building fans instead of profits. They focused on making baseball FUN!
