Frankie Rose is a high-school junior who attends Riverdale Country School. She has always had an interest in the stock market and our economy. When the market crashed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, her interest in finance and our economy grew. She wanted to understand what causes these devastating crashes and recessions that can take people from their homes. She started the Financial Literacy Club in order to provide financial education for today’s youth. She believes that we do not get the proper education to make financial decisions from a typical school curriculum, and in today’s complex economy, it is vital that students have the knowledge they need for financial success.
