They’re tiny, they’re tailless, they’re playful and adorable. Who doesn’t love Guinea Pigs? And yet, often given up by the families who originally adopted them, and frequently overlooked in the public animal shelter system, these furry little creatures need a lot of help. That’s where Saskia Chiesa and her team of volunteers step in. As the largest guinea pig welfare organization in the United States, they rescue thousands of Guinea Pigs every year. They offer sanctuary, adoption services, wellness checkups, and ongoing support to all guinea pigs and their owners. At any given moment, L.A.
