Explore Los Angeles without breaking the bank! See sights from Hollywood to Venice Beach without spending more than $100!
George starts his trip with a “super LA activity,” hiking, at Wisdom Tree Trail and then heads to Downtown to try a French Dip sandwich. This famous sandwich even has a 100-year-long feud as to who invented it — Philippe’s or Coles! He then journeys into the hipster neighborhood of Echo Park to visit glass and water sculptures at Randyland, voted as one of the best places for a date in Los Angeles - and it’s free!
And since Los Angeles is known for its entertainment industry, George travels to the other side of the mountains to the San Fernando Valley, a hot spot for the entertainment industry. Here, George visits Swordplay LA — a fencing and stunt fighting studio in Burbank — with his friend, and actress, Whitney Avalon. They battle it out, Star Wars style with lightsabers and all.
Parched from battle, George sticks to theme and heads to Hollywood’s Scum and Villainy Cantina - a Star Wars-themed bar. To top off his trip, he ends up at Venice beach where he spends the remaining of his $50 on a skateboarding lesson. And to enjoy the free sunset on the beach, of course.
Hiking, Food Feuds, Lightsaber Battles, Skateboarding and Sunsets - All this for under $100! This is #GeorgeGoesEverywhere.
